Operating throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, VSL offers two types of property inspection to help you decide if the house you’re considering is the home you deserve:

Homebuyer Survey & Valuation Report
The standard Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) inspection format.

VSL Building Survey
A more comprehensive report for people requiring greater detail or special attention to particular aspects of a property.

 

Each survey will tell you whether or not the price of the property is reasonable, considering its condition, age, situation and the current market.

The reports are not to be confused with the mortgage valuation that a building society or bank requires before they will offer you a mortgage. This simply tells the lender if the value of the property is adequate security for the loan. It says little about the condition of the property.
